COZY MEYER
Cozy is a licensed massage therapist who is a listed Associate in Training Practitioner Member of the Society of Ortho-Bionomy® International and is completing the final requirements of her practitioner training program this year.
Cozy is passionate about her work. As a student of massage she became fascinated with the body's innate ability to heal itself. A graduate of the Dahan Institute of Massage, she understands that the role of the body worker is to be the conduit through which changes occur. As an Ortho-Bionomy® practitioner she knows how to position the body to allow the changes to happen gently.
Cozy earned her associates degree in automotive technology in 1993 and worked as a mechanic for 10 years before entering the massage field. She has found massage beneficial for others and herself. Because of Fibromyalgia she is not always able to handle receiving deep pressure which is why she has embraced Ortho-Bionomy® principals and techniques in her practice.
Cozy worked in various Las Vegas Valley Spas before joining Thérapie and has been trained in hot stone therapy, body scrubs, wraps and spa treatments. She believes in the therapeutic nature of bodywork and appreciates the value of doing this work in the relaxing, pampering, spa environment that Thérapie offers.
