Serge Dahan

Serge graduated from the Mueller College of Massage in 1984 and pursued his education at the Desert School of Somatherapy in Palm Springs. Since then, Serge has worked in both Spa and clinical settings.  In 1993 he founded the first school of Massage Therapy in Las Vegas and graduated several hundred students who today are working all over the Valley. After 10 years of teaching Massage, in 2004 he continued his journey at the Bellagio Hotel Spa and currently holds a position at another major resort and spa here in town.

His interest in Massage Therapy started with his own back and neck injuries. His expertise in Clinical Massage Therapy makes him a great addition and real asset to 'Thérapie'. Specializing in Clinical Massage therapy, Serge's treatment focus is to relieve pain by treating the cause of Dysfunction within the rehabilitation sector and to treat sports related injuries.

His commitment to continuing education extends beyond his training in the USA and includes working toward his completion of a 3 year training course in Medical/Rehab Massage Therapy in Canada (the highest Massage Therapy training possible in the world) and the completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences through Thompson Rivers University in British Columbia. His post graduate studies include: Certification in A.R.T (Active Release Techniques), Oncology Massage and Manual Lymph Drainage (Vodder and Foldii Method) and CDT (Complete Decongestive Therapy). Also, he is pursuing his certification in Manual Trigger Point Therapy (MTT) with the Janet G. Travell, MD Seminar Series.

To complement his skills, Serge studied under many pioneers in the field of Bodywork such as John Barnes (Myofascial Release), Paul St John (Neuromuscular Therapy), Dr. Leahy (Active Release Techniques), Dr. Bruno Chikly (Lymphatic Therapy), Dr. Upledger (Craniosacral therapy), Dr. Jean Pierre Barral (Viscereal Manipulation)and Dr. Paul Chauffour (Mechanical Link and Fascial Integration).

His passion is to always learn, teach, paint, write, travel with his wife Julie and spend quality time with his son Stephan.
